What to do this weekend with your family? Here is a list of things you can enjoy with your family this weekend. There is so much to do for families and kids, especially now that most venues are open and happy to welcome you back.



The Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with free admission* to the galleries and its new special exhibition, Wayne Thiebaud 100: Paintings, Prints, and Drawings.  
In addition to free admission, creative art activities* will be offered from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Make paper collages of colorful confections inspired by Wayne Thiebaud’s paintings of cakes, pies and ice cream cones, and join in filling a cooperative cityscape based on the artist’s steep city views. In celebration of Women’s History Month, discover paintings by women artists on a scavenger hunt in the Museum’s galleries. 

*Pre-registration is required for free timed tickets and art activities; spaces are limited. Participants ages 2 and over are required to wear face masks while participating in art activities.



Johnny Peers & The Muttville Comix will leave audiences howling with laughter with his personality-plus canines. Starring mostly rescue dogs Johnny leads through challenging and hilarious tricks, this show has been hailed as “a truly funny, slapstick dog act.” 




Join Nature Tots this Saturday 3/5 at 10 am as they bid farewell to winter and welcome in spring! We will be getting curious about clouds by reading an illustrated book, making a craft, and exploring outside! 
Nature Tots is a monthly public program for kids ages 3 - 5 and their families. Please register with erika_scarborough@fws.gov

Philadelphia Insectarium and Butterfly Pavilion - Deal Alert

Linvilla Orchard’s Fore! The Planet is a highly interactive and playful museum exhibit created by the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia! This exhibition pairs important environmental issues with the fun of miniature golf.

We’re very excited to bring an outdoor ice skating rink to Delaware County! For our first year, you can expect fun for the whole family including ice skating sessions, lounge area, heated tent, and great food and beverages.




Guests to the Philadelphia Museum of Art can pay what they wish for admission every Friday evening and the first Sunday of the month. Reservations are required.
