Ivy Kids Kits are incredible! We have been reviewing kits for a long time now and the boxes never disappoint!WE hope you enjoy our latest Ivy Kids Kit review featured in this post!
Not familiar with Ivy Kids Kits?
Ivy Kits are a monthly educational subscription for children ages 3-8 developed by early childhood teachers with children of their own. You can tell these kits were developed by people who truly know young kids. The activities are awesome. Not only can you subscribe to a monthly kit, you can also buy past kits.
Each Ivy Kit contains instructions with ways to modify games to best suit each individual child and provide adults with questions to structure a child’s learning. There are enough games and materials in each kit to engage and cognitively stimulate a child throughout the month and can be replayed for years to come.
We were sent Rooster’s Off to See the World for this review!
This kit features the classic children’s book Rooster’s Off to See the World by Eric Carle, which is an entertaining story about a curious Rooster and the animals he meets on his adventure.
This kit contains over 12 science, math, art, literacy, and engineering activities inspired by the story. With this kit children will construct and decorate a wooden rooster, create a rooster puppet, explore the globe, build with foam cubes, play literacy games with a wind-up chick and so much more. Everything children need to read, play, create, and learn is included!
SOME ACTIVITIES FROM OUR BOX…
If you’ve been following along, you know I had the privilege of teaching two young kids in my home for a year and a half. While I no longer teach them, I am very close with their family and they still use the Ivy Kids Kits for me and their mom sends me photos so you can see the kits in action! The children using the kits are ages 5, 6, and 8, with a sweet toddler who tags along!
Here is a peek inside of this kit and ALL of the amazing activities included.
One of the things I love seeing in the photos is the children all working together. The wide variety of ages this box appeals to makes it great for homeschooling families. This time, they even involved some friends! The games included are just perfect for this, I love seeing the little sister full engaged in so many activities with her older siblings!
Rooster’s Off To See the World is a classic book and engaging in so many ways. Below you can see the kids learning a lot about the life cycle of a chicken, the parts of a chicken and so much more!
Crafts are always a big hit and make any unit study more fun!
Learning is fun and Ivy Kids kits make sure that happens! Just look at the smiles as the kids learn about geography, math, science, and so much more!
